What was it like starting with no experience?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

At first, it definitely took some time getting used to. I didn\u2019t yet have a clear picture of what the job involved. But if you approach it with an open mindset, everything works out just fine.<\/p>\n

How quickly did you feel part of the team?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Very quickly. It felt right straight away.<\/p>\n

What makes you feel at home here?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Mainly my colleagues. You really do everything all together. I\u2019ve realised that I really enjoy working as part of the team.<\/p>\n

How did you start, and where are you now?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

I started in April 2025 as a junior artificial turf specialist, and that\u2019s still my role today. I definitely have the ambition to grow further within J&E Sports.<\/p>\n

Which employment benefits matter most to you?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

You\u2019re paid well here. What I also really appreciate is that travel time in the van is fully paid. That\u2019s not the case at many other companies.<\/p>\n

What makes this job different from other jobs you\u2019ve had?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Before this, I had an office job. that was \u00a0something completely different. What I really enjoy now is working outdoors. In the summer you work long days, but in the winter you get that time back. You also have much more freedom in your day-to-day work.<\/p>\n

Which projects stand out to you the most, and why?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

We once built an adventure golf course in Germany. That means working away from home. I enjoy that, although not for too long. I do like being home in between. Because it was a golf project, it was also very educational.<\/p>\n

What did you need to get used to when you first started?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The early mornings and working in a team. Before this, I worked in an office with just one other colleague. Now I work with multiple people on a field, which actually makes it much more enjoyable.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the funniest or most memorable thing you\u2019ve experienced with colleagues?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

You experience something almost every day here. It\u2019s never boring.<\/p>\n

How would you describe the team?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

It\u2019s a\u00a0unique team in a positive way. The different personalities at J&E Sports are what make it so enjoyable.<\/p>\n

What makes the atmosphere in the van or on site so good?<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The relaxed vibe within the team. You work hard, but there\u2019s always room for jokes and laughter. Not too serious \u2014 enjoying yourself together is important.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
