The Mixed Hockey Club Emmen received a new semi-water hockey pitch in 2010. J&E Sports installed the Edel Hockey Elite LSR/NDR artificial turf system at Sportpark Meerdijk, including the irrigation system.
As there was no available space at the club’s own facility, the new pitch was constructed on one of the adjacent fields belonging to Sportclub Emmen. A notable feature of the project is that the club independently installed LED lighting to make the facility more sustainable.
The semi-water pitch was completed in the summer of 2010, allowing the club to start the 2010/2011 season with this excellent new artificial turf field.
