Two new artificial grass pitches at North Harbour Stadium

J&E Sports provided support on an international sports project in Auckland, New Zealand 🇳🇿. In collaboration with FieldTurf N-Z, two new artificial grass pitches were delivered at North Harbour Stadium.

The project covers an area of approximately 15,000 m² and has been designed to meet the requirements for FIFA Quality and World Rugby certification. This ensures the pitches are suitable for both football and rugby training sessions as well as high-level matches.

The pitches have been constructed using a modern artificial grass system with natural cork infill, providing excellent playing performance for both football and rugby, alongside a durable sports surface. The use of natural materials ensures a comfortable playing experience while remaining suitable for intensive use.

With this installation, North Harbour Stadium further strengthens its position as a key sporting venue in New Zealand, where both elite and grassroots football and rugby come together.

For J&E Sports, this project is a strong example of international collaboration in the construction of high-quality football and rugby pitches, where teamwork and craftsmanship meet.

J&E Sports completes sport projects 🌱 in Amsterdam and Den Bosch

After a period of strong winds and poor weather, the teams at J&E Sports successfully completed several sports pitch projects in February.

Work took place at HEDW Middenmeer in Amsterdam, where a new sports pitch has been installed. Our team also worked at BLC in Den Bosch, where the Ascari pitch by DSN Sports Grass was installed in collaboration with Top Sport & Groen.

The strong winds occasionally created challenging conditions during the installation. Thanks to the commitment, flexibility and craftsmanship of our teams, the projects were still completed according to schedule.

The result: two excellent sports pitches that athletes can now fully enjoy.

Installation season 2026 kicks off in Krabbendijke

At LTC de Klappers in Krabbendijke, J&E Sports completed the first tennis court of 2026 yesterday. This marks the official start of the installation season.

Commissioned by Antea Group Sport and installed using high-quality artificial grass from Edel Grass, our team delivered a sleek and durable playing surface within a single working day.
From rolling and compacting to the final finishing touches, the project was executed efficiently, with focus and clear craftsmanship.

A strong start — and many more sports fields to come in 2026.

Four Amsterdam sports fields built fully electrically

Once again, we have taken a major step forward in the sustainable development of sports facilities. In collaboration with Antea Group, Edel Grass and FieldTurf, we have delivered four new artificial turf pitches in Amsterdam. The entire construction process was carried out fully electrically, using zero-emission machinery.

This sustainable approach has reduced COâ‚‚ emissions and contributed to the development of a greener and healthier sports environment.

The four locations in Amsterdam:

  • Sportpark De Eendracht

  • SPP Buiksloterbanne – ASC Volewijckers

  • A.S.V. DTA Fortius – Middenmeer

  • Drieburg – ASV Wartburgia

With these four pitches, we have jointly strengthened the ambition of the Gemeente Amsterdam to develop sports facilities that are future-proof, sustainable and climate-friendly.

Together, we are building the sports fields of tomorrow. Greener, more sustainable and fully electric.

Onwards to many more fully electric artificial turf pitches.
